Jeffrey Murray's Qualifications

About Jeffrey Murray:

Jeffrey Murray holds a Juris Doctorate (Suffolk University Law School) and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He has thirty years relevant experience in public school law as a teacher, public school principal, (at both the elementary and middle school level), president of a teacher’s union. He has served as a contract negotiator for a teacher’s union and principal’s association. Finally, Jeffrey Murray served on a team successfully representing 44 dismissed teachers at all stages, hearings, arbitration, and negotiation.

Legal Policy course in Education Administration for administrators, graduate students and teachers. Topics include contracts, grievances, arbitrations, sexual harassment, educator liability, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, school record keeping and FERPA.

Special Education Law. Topics include the Reauthorization of IDEA, Section 504, Student discipline and special education, student discipline and Section 504, creating IEPS, how to prepare for a due process hearings, etc.
